This Turnout is designed to mate up exactly width-wise with the roadbed.  The 45-degree shoulders represent slopes found traditionally on model railroad roadbed.  Any turnout in size from #5 thru #6 will fit this turnout pad.  The scale thickness is 12" for branchline/siding or 18" Mainline.  Actual thickness is 4.5mm (approx. 3/16") for branchline and 7mm (approx. 9/32" for mainline).Turnout is approx. 15" long, which facilitates extra length to trim to the exact switch utilized.  Turnout is curvable for radius of 28" on the diverging route.
